Thai Yoga Massage
Treatment
The treatment is performed on a floor matt/futon and the massage is applied through the therapist’s use of hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to important points along the energy lines, in combination with gentle stretching and applied Hatha yoga. This releases blocked energy and frees the body’s own natural healing potential, restoring balance, health and harmony.
The gentle stretching movements, energy line and pressure point work produces a uniquely relaxing yet energising and highly effective therapeutic treatment, ideal for anyone regardless of their level of flexibility.

On arrival for the treatment
Initially, a detailed consultation form is taken to identify any medical problems or symptoms, though this can be done over the phone. The massage is applied according to your own needs and bodily challenges.

Before the Massage treatment
Please ensure you wear loose, warm and comfortable clothing, so as not to restrict movement during the massage and that all jewellery is removed. Avoid having a large meal in the two hours before the treatment. There will be a 7 minute Meditation to help ground before treatment.
After the massage treatment
Thai Yoga Massage usually leaves the receiver feeling energised, calm and centred. There may be some temporary healing reactions as toxins and emotions are released and the body’s energy rebalances, although most people feel an increased sense of well-being. Changes within the physical, mental and emotional body take place over a period of time and therefore Thai Yoga massage is particularly beneficial when received as a course of treatment.
